Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily is that these have enabled me to pay loans and start a shop business which will aid my kids to go to a private school.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the money I was very excited until now and thankful to GiveDirectly because I have executed my plans.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent KES 22,000 my first transfer on repayment of a motorcycle loan, KES 15,000 on cutting of trees for my shop,and the rest I will spent on shop items.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Since the year 2011, I have been planting maize on my farm and the production has been very low or none. This has been because of the heavy infestation of maize stalk borer disease in my area. As a result I have been struggling to provide food for my family since I depend solely on farming to cater for their needs. This for me is the biggest hardship I have ever experienced.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up feeling fine,energized and ready to partake on my daily chores.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm very happy to be included in this GD program. This is because I have been having some big plans of my own( e.g starting a new business and expand the existing one) and as a result GD has now made my plans a reality. Long live GD.
