How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different in that I have oxen that help plough gardens, household items especially clothes and these bring me happiness. Before, I used to toil with a hoe, or wait for sympathetic person to plough my gardens. In addition, I didn't have enough cloth in the house to change to when going out of home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving giving money directly to people, and it's honest compared to other funding projects that come to village and raise hope of assistance to people but it will never materialise. I don't see anything it hasn't done well, in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to weed rice, and the balance is saved to build an iron sheet roofed house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life is different in that I have money that I can use as I please to maintain my health through having proper and timely meals. Owning a bull has also greatly made a difference in my daily life because I don't need to think of where to go and get another bull to help in ploughing.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy that I knet down prayed and thanked God for passing through GiveDirectly to bring such financial blessings to me.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a bull that I am pairing with the already existing one to help me in timely cultivation. I also bought seedlings that I will plant when the season starts and some house hold items such as bedding, Clothes, Food. I also hired a garden land that I will use to farm for two years. This will relieve me from famine that strikes my family as I will be having a lot of cultivated foods to sustain my family.
