I spent my third transfer as an additional investment in my charcoal selling business. This is to enable me earn an income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been in a way that I am now able to access my necessities which was not the case before I received the transfers since i didnot have money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by not asking for any money to enroll recipients into the program. Unlike how its done in several places these days that to receive something, you must give first.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy a motorcycle for transporting myself since I am a charcoal trader and I initially had no means. I used part of that money to add on my capital since I had a somehow smaller capital. Then I also paid school fees for my children since they were demanding me at school

The biggest difference in my daily life is that i can now reach my business clients and the market quickly and my business is real flourishing

My proudest achievement is building a metal house by the time I constructed, I was staying in grass hatched house which was too small to accommodate my family

My biggest hardship is paying school fees for my children because I earn little from my charcoal business and this can not make ends meet.

My happiest part of the day is in the evening when I receive many customers to my charcoal business.
