What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for clearing a debt for building my house and a morgage for my garden 500,000Ugx and 300,000Ugx respectively, I spent 300,000Ugx for buying house hold items, bricks at 120,000Ugx, a bag of maize at 110,000Ugx, and 2 bags of cement at 60,000Ugx,
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well to give me cash that has greatly helped me, give directly has not done anything bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in a way that I sleep in an iron roofed house which I built with Give Directly's transfer unlike before where I used to sleep in a grass hatched house and now days I sleep with 2 meals a day, not as before where I could sleep without a meal a day.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy clothes for my family, mattress, bed-sheets, shoes,saurce-pans, food, and contributed Ugx 1,000,000 towards my spouse acquiring a motorcycle for taxi purpose.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, i felt so happy that we ululated, drummed jerry-cans, and sang our song "eyalama,ejok Edeke", meaning, thank you, God is good.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is i have meals on time, since food is within home now, and the children are now looking healthy. Before, i had to wake up, go labour in someone's else garden to get what to eat, then come back home to cook and end up having a meal very late in the day.

The biggest hardship I face is hunger. I can not feed my children since the man decided to get another woman.

The happiest part of my day is the afternoon when I have eaten lunch with my children.
