Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I am happy because I acquired a motorcycle that earns me daily income. Previously, my employer was paying me peanuts which could not support my family. More so, I was living under oppression and in distress. The cash transfer has enabled me relocate to a more safer place where I can take care of my family peacefully.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the cash transfer, I felt very happy and relieved because I had a family that needed my support.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first cash transfer to purchase a motorcycle worth UGX 1500000. I spent UGX 200000 for transport to Kotido district.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy a motor cycle and a plot of land. Iam a karamoja, I depend on casual labouring for survial and this does not sustain the needs of my family members. The motorcycle I will be ridding it carrying passengers to realise money for providing basic needs in my family. Also I will build my homestead in that Plot for my family to settle.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening hours. I carry out grassing goasts as part of my earning. Iam able to sit together with my spouse in the evening planning on development. This brings a smile to both of us since is auniting factor.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is poverty. I lost my father at my tender age and started moving up and down as a casual labourer. This has never allowed me to settle since I earn what is not enough for the family's survival.
