How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No I don't have any new plan which I did not have prior to receiving this transfer. My plan has always been to complete my schooling. I am still holding on to thos plan.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well in in helping people realize their dreams. My dream of acquiring High School Diploma was greatly challenged prior to GiveDirectly coming to our community. I literally dropped out of school because I could nor afford my 1st quarter tuation. Today, my tuation is fully paid. I don't know about any area where GiveDirectly does not do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent about L$11,000 (US$73.33) from my most recent transfer to to pay my tuatuon at New Era International School. I also used about L$22,500 (US$146.66) to renovate and furnish my house. Additionally, I spent about $22500 (US$150) to buy a Tecno Spark7 for myself.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am Sumala Roberts from Dagweh town, Bomi county Liberia. I planned to renovate my house and buy mattress before receiving my third cash transfer from Givedirectly. I use my first cash transfer to pay my semester tuition and bought some building materials with my second cash transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly usually follow up to make sure that I receive transfer. I am not aware of anything that Givedirectly didn't do well in my village. I am grateful to Givedirectly and those that have contributed in helping me move forward.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Upon cashing out my transfer I bought two bags of cement, two loads of sand and a mattress.

Givedrectly selected me as beneficiary for the unconditional cash transfer and been transferring money to my mobile account according to the schedule given me. Through the help receive from Givedrectly,I am presently in school and have started my own business. I haven't notice anything that Givedrectly has not done well in my village. Thanks to Givedrectly for empowering me .

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
How I felt when I received my first transfer from GiveDirectly: On October 21, 2021 around 8:00AM, I woke up and walk at the clinic in the town. While I was there, I heard my phone message tone; when I checked, it was a transfer message from GiveDirectly indicating that I have received money on my mobile money account. I was so happy that day because it was a great help to me
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly: Before GiveDirectly came, the work I was doing to raise money was so hard and the money I got from it wasn't enough at all. Since I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I am free from hard work and I have settled all of my expenses without any delay.

What I spend my most recent transfer on: I used the money to pay my school fees and will use the remaining to buy my schooling materials. Before GiveDirectly came to help us, I use to clean up other people farms and also make coal to raise money for my schooling.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the cash transfer,I intend to pay my tuition fees, I'm currently in the 7th grade and self supported.I dropped out of school one year ago because my crops I planted didn't yeild due to bad soil.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months a friend of mine took me to an entertainment center and bought me drinks from his own money, which I didn't pay back.That makes me happy due to the fact that for the past 4 years I haven't been to any entertainment center to entertain myself and take out the stress because of financial constraints.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of the major challenges I presently have is to further my education, I dropped from school one year ago because there was no money to go back to school,my crops that I planted didn't yeild due to bad soil.
