Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy because I was sure of getting another ox for ploughing and renting farm land.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has change because I have acquired another ox. Previously, I had one which could not plough alone. Currently, I am using my oxen for plaughing. In addition, I have also rented farm land. I am very certain of food security in my home.

I bought an ox worth UGX 1,070,000, rented farm land worth UGX 150,000, bought household goods/clothes ( mattress and utensils ) worth UGX 136,000, paid medical bills worth 30,000 and bought food worth UGX 100000. Recipient could not remember all items bought.

The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is poor accomodation. Currently; I can't afford better beddings and house for lack of money.
