What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a dignified retirement for me. I do not want to spend my remaining days on earth living in poverty and over reliance on my children. Thus, much of my transfers will be invested in indigenous livestock specifically cows and goats to serve as financial security for future needs. I will also replace my roof which is old and tattered so I can sleep in a safe house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest time of day is evening. This is because afternoons are too hot in this season that you can not even go out for a simple walk.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest struggle is inadequate finances to meet my needs such as health and food. With old age comes deteriorating health such as poor eyesight, back pains etc thus a lot is spent on treatment. Since I can no longer work, I depend solely on my offspring for my survival which I feel is a burden to them because they too have their own families now.
