How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I am planning to renovate my house roof and start up a little business to help my children and i, as I have just lost my husband and there's is no one to help me with the children. My husband was sick for a while before his passing therefore we had to use most of our previous transfers on hospital bills in Monrovia.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: Givedirectly is doing very well from the enrolment till now, but there's one thing givedirectly need to start doing, that is excepting our gifts when we give to them, because the gifts we give to them are from our heart's and it is frustrating when they refuse them. Our out most gratitude to givedirectly for everything they are doing for us. We can not pay back this kindness God can and will.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: As it stands now am going to use the most of this my transfer of my children education. I have five children in school this academy year which is very costly because of the increase in school fees this academy year. With my present situation it is even more difficult surviving and making decisions. But am grateful to givedirectly for this help, at least I can take care of my children even in the absent of my husband.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
RE: "I was in Monrovia because my husband is not well, he was even sick before givedirectly could come in our town. While at the hospital neighbours from my home started calling me one soon morning asking if I have received my givedirectly money because they have received theirs, right away i ran for my phone and checked my account, there i saw the money i became to dance and jump with joy because i have been worrying on how to get money for my husband treatment ".
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
RE: "At first before givedirectly transfer my children would only go to school with one or two copybooks, no uniform, shoes nor backbag, even paying school fees was a serious problem but today because of givedirectly transfer i have bought all my children school materials such as: uniform, backbag, copybooks. Most importantly my husband family took him to the hospital and abandon him there with no money or payment of treatment, the hospital wanted to put him out that's how they call me and told me my husband was at the hospital with no money. When i got there I begged the hospital to give us sometime to look for money, while worrying on how to get money than i received call from back home that givedirectly transfer has come that was how i paid for his treatment".
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE:"My husband was sick with no money so the moment I saw the Money, i ran and paid for his medications, we have spend more than three weeks at this hospital and even presently he is still at the hospital all thanks to givedirectly transfer for saving my husband life ".

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have been selling fish and coconut on a very low level for many years . If I am blessed to be given this grant or unconditional cash transfer , I will definitely increase my goods or items I have been sending to a better level to help me cement my house and put floor. I will also be able to pay school fees for my children and a grand child with the profit from my upgraded business. These are what I have planned to do with the cash transfer if I am blessed to receive it .
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the last 6 months , what brought happiness in my life was when my daughter Eve Jackson gave birth to a bouncing baby boy . I was so happy when Eve husband, Melvin Gweh gave me a call that Eve Jackson has given birth safely in Cesto health center with a boy child .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenges right now are numerous; my children balance school fees are not yet being paid which I have not been able to receive their report cards. I have 10 children, from which 3 are adults . To find food for the underage ones including the grand child is tedious ,and I hardly rest my body because I have to put baskets every evening in a River to find fish for our domber (fufu) soup on a daily basis. My husband is ill and could not help me like before with normal homeworks.
