What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying 2 cows that I will be keeping for milking. I then invested some of the cash in my sugarcane farming business by buying fertilizer and top dressing the crop. I also bought steel doors which were installed on my house. I then spent the rest of the cash on buying a few kitchen utensils that I did not have.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because now my children feed well and go to school because their school fee is fully paid all thanks to the transfers I got from give directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I preffered that the money was sent directly to us and not through another person. I do not see anything that the organization does not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying laborers to plough my lands in readiness for sugar cane planting,bought building materials for a kitchen i am yet to build,spent some money in buying food and have kept a portion of the transfer to use later when i commence on the building process.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having ploughed my lands for the sugar cane planting because unlike this time it has always been a struggle to get money for paying wages yet that is my family's source of income.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on buying three cows to raise, building a kitchen since I don't have one and use the remaining amount to pay school fees for my grandchild who is currently in class seven.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having built my current house, I used to live in a thatched house making my life and that of my children very difficult during rainy seasons since the house would leak alot.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on paying school fees for my grandchild who is in class seven and supposed to be a candidate come next year after which I'm hopeful he will proceed to secondary school where alot of fees will be required as well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon after a day out in the farm.I take the time to reflect and plan.
