My goal is to ensure my family has a good food supply over the next coming months. I will buy maize seeds and fertilizer to grow for future food. I will also be using some of the money to buy foodstuffs to eliminate current hunger.

Anyone visiting my home will be in a comfortable setting. A lot of improvements have been going on since I started to buy nice seats for my house, four months ago. I used the transfers to buy sofa sets that make me proud and so happy. I am very comfortable to host guests of any caliber.

In the next six months, I expect that I will have completed my home improvements by replacing the old rusted roofing sheets with new iron sheets to make it stronger and look nicer. I know that I will have completed the construction to have my compound and home become really good. I am certain that these activities will make me happier and comfortable at home.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I am now a proud owner of a heifer and a three-seater seat. I was able to buy a heifer using the savings I was given in table banking group. Owning a seat has brought a lot of happiness in my life because I no longer borrow it from my neighbors whenever I have visitors at home.

My additional goal in life is to buy more seats for my family. I am planning to be buying a three-seater seat every month for the next two months. This is because I only have one which I recently bought. I will also be lending it to my neighbors whenever they have visitors.

It has always been my prayer to invest in dairy farming but I had not been able to buy more cows to add in my herd. I was able to buy a heifer recently using my savings from our table banking group. I am now hopeful that soon, I will be able to increase the quantity of milk I will be selling at our nearest shopping centers. This heifer will also be a permanent mark of GiveDirectly in my life. Being able to buy this heifer makes it the biggest difference in my life.

I am expecting that my life will have changed in the next six months in that I will have bought enough seats for my family. I am also hopeful that I will have started a poultry keeping project. This project will be helping me in terms of a financial crisis.

My life is currently different in myriad of ways. But of most importance to me is the fact that I have been able to add an additional asset to the family's asset base. The cow that I bought shall go a long way in seeing us meet most of our financial needs without having to struggle like we have done before. Moreover, I have been able to meet most of the needs that I were not able to meet in the past. I can now give descent food to my children as well as provide them with descent dressing like children of other well to do families. This feeling has rejuvenated my pride as a parent and I cannot stop being grateful to GiveDirectly.

In the next four months my focus shall be on making sure that I make my monthly merry go round contribution to the other remaining members in the group. They owe me the money since they have already made their contributions to me. I will do everything I can to make sure that I pay back the money through the monthly transfers that I receive from GiveDirectly. After completing this round, then my focus shall be on buying household furniture.

When we started receiving these transfers, we decided to join merry go round groups that enabled us pool our resources together. This has seen me be able to collect up to KES 20000 last month when It was my turn to get the contributions. The money was so helpful to us as we were able to buy a dairy cow. This asset shall be of great help to us in the days to come. We shall have milk for family consumption and possibly sell the surplus. Moreover, this cow shall reproduce and give rise to more livestock which are of great importance in meting most of the financial emergencies that may arise.

In the next six months, I shall have been able to buy household furniture that will enable me live a more comfortable life at home and make my family happier. I shall also be able to welcome visitors much more comfortably than I can do now.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago since I have taken a step ahead to purchase iron sheets to replace the old ones. The current ones are really rusted such that they might start leaking very soon

My new goal for the next four months is to buy a dairy cow. This will be very helpful to my family as it will provide milk for my family consumption hence cut down on the daily expenses that I am currently incurring on milk purchase

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am currently living a stress free life knowing that I will be getting transfers after every month enough to sustain my family for a month

I expect my life to change for the better in the next six months since as I am planning to purchase a dairy cow, I will no longer incur expenses on buying milk. Besides, since it will have calved down by then, my herd size will increase

The new goals which I now have is to buy a cow and later build a house for my family.
