Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I had money at hand that I was able to spend on anything that I really desired. I was so happy that in my life time, I was able to stock food for my family and they all had enough to eat out of as compared to before when we depended on farm produce alone for both commercial and subsistence. We always remained with very little for consumption which in most cases left us with famine.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy because I was relieved from a lot of financial issues.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 270000 to buy two doors that I fitted in my house. I spent part of my transfer to buy some house hold items such as clothing, three pairs of bed sheets, two blankets, I then bought a bicycle for my son at Ugx 220000. I then stocked food stuff in the house totaling to 320000. I spent some money then paid up fees for my children totaling to Ugx 300000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will build a permanent house that I will sleep in. This will help improve on my living standards. Currently, the one I sleep in I shared with chicken which is not healthy. I will also be able to buy goats and more chicken to act as an Income generating activity for the household. The chicken I have currently are few and will not be able to address household needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is after lunch when I have eaten. I get satisfied and become strong and I will be able to engage in any other household chore in a productive manner.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my life is lack of a reliable source of income. I am basically a peasant farmer growing crops for household consumption and sale. This is not reliable because I rely on rain fed farming which is interfered with drought and floods.
