What did you spend your second transfer on?
"I spent my second transfer for buying a bull at 900,000ugx which is going to help me to plough my gardens, I hired garden at 200,000ugx, paid back a loan of 200,000ugx and am planning to use the remaining balance of 300,000ugx for buying household items , clothes for my family and a goat.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
"In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving us unconditional cash transfers that have relieved us from poverty thus improving our standards of living. On the other hand, there is nothing that Give directly has not done well"
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
"My life has been different in that I now live a stress free life together with my family because we are able to afford the basic needs that were very difficult for us to afford previously. I have also been able to invest this money by buying a bull which i will use to grow crops that will provide food for my family in the present and the future to come"

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 1,038,000 of my first transfer to buy a bull, i hired a garden at 150,000ugx. I bought a mattress at 85,000ugx, seeds at 24,000ugx, solar panel at 120,000ugx. The balance of money i used for buying food and clothes.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received the money, i felt so happy because i had never got that amount of money before.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my family feeds well and they look healthy. Before i got this money, my children were malnourished.

The biggest hardship I am faced with is lack of oxen for ploughing, limited sleeping space.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I am playing with my wife.

Receiving this money means, I will be able able to build an iron roofed house and buy oxen for ploughing.
