How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The transfer has changed my life because before I was unable to make repairments on my roof because of financial struggles but GiveDirectly has made it possible
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does a big job at helping people and it helps them come out of poverty and due to this help alot of people will start businesses and won't die from hunger. There is nothing I have noticed that Give Directly does not do well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I want to use this money to buy iron sheets to improve my house so I don't have leakages in my house during the rainy season and save some to start a small business

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have welcomed the program and am very happy to be part of it. I will be able to renovate my house. The house leaks heavily during this rainy season. I will also be able to buy enough food. We really struggle making both ends meet and most of the times we go on an empty stomach.
What is the happiest part of your day?
We are always happy when we have enough food to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Hunger is the main challenge here. We always lack money which we can use to buy food. Most of the times, we sleep on an empty stomach.
