How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since I managed to move out of my father's land we now have peace. We rarely have a family conflict like before. We used to quarrel almost on a daily basis with my in-laws over petty issues but all that stopped after we relocated to a different area. My husband and I are now happy and progressive. We recently bought some cows that have already started producing milk. I never had hopes that I would buy one soon. I really thank Give Directly for their support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, the projects that Give Directly is enrolling in our villages are good projects. The lives of many people have changed due to their help and I can't thank them enough. I would urge them to continue doing these projects so that other organizations can emulate them.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of the transfers I received recently to purchase a piece of land. The one we had previously was small so we decided to move away from home since we would always quarrel with my sisters-in-law. I am happy I now stay peacefully, I only go home once in a while to say hi to my other extended family members. I spent the remaining amount to purchase some building materials. I am planning to build a new house and I thank God because I already have something to start with

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received the transfer from Give Directly. I called my husband to let him know and he was happy too.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
From the transfer that I received from Give Directly, we spent 15000 KES to buy a cow, 12000 KES on an ox, 10000 KES on iron sheets to build a house and the balance on utensils and food.
