What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a sack of maize at 3,800 KES, two goats at 6,000 KES, a mattress and blanket at 3,400 KES, I kept 30,000 KES which I'll use to admit my child in to the Univrsity.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is difference than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I managed to pay dowry hence I now have peace in my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by ensuring that the transfers are channeled directly to the intened individuals through phone transfers without involving the local authorities.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having paid the dowry even though it was long overdue. I had desired to do that for a long time but I didn't have the might or means to make it happen.

I am planning to spend my transfer on school fees for our children. I am also planning to spend my transfer on food, clothing and household items.

The achievement I am proudest of is building my own house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is the financial burden of looking after a very large family. I only do subsistence farming, and the returns are very meagre.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am eating supper wit my wife and children.
