What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying building materials that I used to build a more spacious house. I have been staying in a leaky, old house that was so squeezed for my family. The remaining I spent on buying a solar lamp for lighting. Using a tin lamp was proving to be a health hazard due to the smoke it produces. My children are also able to stay awake for long hours studying without the fear of the lights going off.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing 22 pieces of iron sheets and constructed a house. I previously stayed in a temporary structure made of scrap metals that looked very ugly and leaking. I felt a lot of discomfort during rainy seasons as I had to either relocate to neighborhood or shift all the items to a single corner of the house which was the only point that was not leaking.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest in my daily life is that I no longer relocate to the neighborhood during rainy seasons. Besides that, I have gained some confidence and pride for acquiring a good house.

I spent my first transfer to buy a bed at 3,800 KES since I did not have a bed. I spent 3,700 KES to buy a sack of maize for my family's consumption and also bought hybrid seeds for planting at 1,500 KES
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the money, I was very happy and jubilated so much because I was now going to a bed and say bye bye to sleeping on the floor. Thank you GD.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is having to miss some meals in a day . The prolonged drought has made access to food so expensive making it hard to have all meals in a day.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest most afternoons because at such times I have completed most tasks and had lunch so I just relax around the house.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money makes me hopeful and happy because I will have a bigger house than the current one I live in. I plan to have a house with electricity that will bring comfort to my family.
