How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There are two major goals I have set before receiving this transfer.The first goal is to hire carpenter who will reroof my house and the second goal is to buy planks for my house roof . I want to remove the old thatch from my housef and reroof it with zincs Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my planned to live in a decent house will soon come to pass
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly doing well for everyone in this community. Givedirectly is one of the best organizations that ever worked in this county. Through Givedirectly cash supports, many recipients who couldnot afford money to build new houses are now building decent zincs houses. Givedirectly is transparent and doesnot make false promises. Thanks to Givedirectly for the financial supports . Givedirectly will forever be remembered for the good job implemented in our community.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer to buy 100 packs of assorted zincs nails. I want to reroof my house with zincs and design it in the found of Chinese roof . my balance money will be kept in saving to hire carpenter who will reroof my house. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash supports. I believe that with my transfer , my dreamed to live in decent zinc house will soon come to pass.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goals I have set before receiving this transfer are to paid two 2contractors to start building my house immediately. My son will be graduating from high school in Monrovia . I am Planning to cash out this transfer to pay his graduation fees and used some of the transfer to organize small graduation ceremony .Thanks to Givedirectly for putting smile on my son face. If it wasn't for Givedirectly cash support, I could not be able to paid my son graduation fees due to hardship. I believe that through Givedirectly kind gesture , my joy will continue to increase.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is actually doing well. Givedirectly has brought so much joyed to my mind and the entire community. I did not have any plan of building house due to hardship but through Givedirectly kind gesture, I am now in the process of building. Thanks to Givedirectly for helping to reduce poverty rate in our community. At it stands , many recipients in this village are changing their houses roof from thacth to zinc. There is no system in Givedirectly that needs improvement.

I am planning to spend my most recent transfer to buy 4 packs of assorted zinc nails to roof my house. I have already purchased three budles of zinc from my past transfer and will definitely hire two contractors to start building my house. Secondly, my son is expected to graduate from high school in Monrovia . I am going to spend some of my transfer to pay my son graduation fees and organize small graduation party for him. How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to complete my house that i started already by improving it in good conditions. I'm even thinking about starting a new business that will help me, after this programs so that my family will not find it very difficult in getting food. I even bought ten (10) bags of cements to plaster my house. I'm going to paid people to do this work for me and,i also bought solar panels for light. I'm going to buy goat to start a animals husbandry, so that i can get more money for my family. I even bought the balance zinc to complete this house roofs. I'm very thankful to GiveDirectly for their support towards me as a poor person.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion GiveDirectly has done great things for me and my family. I'm very thankful to GiveDirectly for their support towards us in Rivercesse as poor people. I just love the way that GiveDirectly can work,they are very transparent in theirs work. I been observing their processes from the beginning up to now they are very transparent. They are the only NGO in Liberia that is helping us in this direction. We are very much thankful to GiveDirectly then for this great opportunity.

I bought zinc and cement to finish my house good. I'm going to paid people to do my work on my house. I also bought some food for the house and,i paid my children schools feel. I also bought my children Christmas clothes and other things for the house. I'm also going to paid my children balance schools feel for this academic year. I even bought two (2) bundles of zinc and six(6) bags of cement. I'm Thinking about starting a new business that will help sustain my family after this programs program.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Before i received my first transfer i was on my farms doing some farming work. When I received this money from GiveDirectly i was very much happy until I started singing and dancing. Because life wasn't easy for me and my family it was very difficult in funding food for my children. But with the help of GiveDirectly I'm now thinking about building a house for my children. Sometime to even provide for me and my family it was not easy thing. But now my children are now in school and their school fees is paid .
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that, I was not even thinking of building a house for my children. My children schools feel was not paid on time but with the help of GiveDirectly. I'm finished paid all of my children schools feel and they all are in schools now. Sometime for me and my family to get our daily meal it was hard. But with the help of GiveDirectly I'm doing a new business that is helping a lot. I'm awaiting my next transfer to come so that i can do more things that will help sustain my family.

My most recent transfer I'm thinking about finishing my house now. I even paid my Children school fees and buy some schools material for them this academic year. I'm even thinking about starting a new business to help me and my family. I just bought zinc and cement to finish my house. Because my house was very old with tach and even leaking with water went rain fall. I'm very happy about this programs with our was not thinking about building a zinc house. Brother even to provide for me and my family it was very difficult.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We have our children who are in school, one of them is in the 12th grade class and suppose to graduate this year. When I get this money, I will use it to support them in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My recent happiness was when all of my children who are in school passed to the next classes. I felt that my efforts are not in vein.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I'm now facing is financial difficulties; I want to change my house roof from thatch to zinc roof but I don't have money. Also, I need money to pay my children school fees.
