What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on starting a cereal (groundnuts) vending business 25,000 KES. I have also saved the remaining amount of money 22000 KES.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have paid school fees for my two children who are in high school with ease as opposed to before. I also build a decent spacious house hence I no longer stay in a small squeezed leaky house and I bought a calf too.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by assisting the poorest household in my village by giving them money mainly those who were living in grassed thatched houses.
