What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to settle my dowry. I spent a portion of the remaining transfer to establish my own home. Besides, I bought a sheep with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have home with an iron roofed house. Previously, I was living in a leaking grass thatched house in my father in-law's compound. This was happening because my effort to raise money and built a better house never materialized since the little I was getting couldn't even buy a piece of iron sheet.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it execute its promise. Above all, it respect the people living in the community irrespective of their financial standing. At the moment I'm not sure what GD doesn't do well, everything is right.
