How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The biggest difference in my life ever since I started receiving transfers is that I was able to purchase a few goats. I feel lucky because some of them have already given birth. The goats are my biggest investment. I have plans that in the future I'll sell some of them in order to get capital for venturing into other businesses. At least I have hopes and plan of living a good life in the future. I used to be hopeless without a purpose in life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I do casual work and in most cases, I work in far places from home. This is very costly because I am at times forced to spend on transport. Therefore, I have started paying for for a motorcycle in installments so that I'll not incur any cost moving to my workplace. For the next four months of my life, I have an additional goal of raising enough money so that I can finally complete paying for the motorcycle and start using it
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I started constructing a house two years ago but I couldn't complete it because I ran out of cash and at the same time I didn't have a reliable source of income. Having an incomplete house didn't give me any peace of mind and in most cases, I was worried about how and when I would raise money to complete the house. My neighbors had started mocking me and I used to feel bad. I'm happy this is not the case anymore because, through the GD transfer, I was able to complete the house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I did a course in welding and currently, I'm employed in someone's workshop. I do not find it productive because I'm paid on commission so in the next six month of my life I expect to have saved enough money to purchase the welding equipment so that I open my workshop. With this, I'll earn more which enable me to comfortably meet my family's needs and goals.
