Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am growing old and I don't have a formal job to support my family needs thus I majorly depend on farming. In the next four months, the new goal I have for my life is to expand my tea farming. I prefer expanding this tea farming since when they mature I can be assured of a monthly income that can support my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am an ambitious father always struggling to bring up a happy family. I majorly depend on farming to support my family needs and it is challenging to meet needs with the deadline like school fees since farming takes time to mature and the returns are unpredictable. I priorities my children's education to help them have a better future thus my attention is always on their school fees. The greatest change in my daily life since I received my transfer is the ability to settle their fee on time giving me a chance to focus on other income-generating activities as they have ample time in school to study. I thank GiveDirectly for the support.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am hopeful that I will have cleared my children's school fees and I will have planted more tea leaves seedlings. I expected to be living a better life in that my mind will be relaxed and sober to handle other activities since I will have tacked the major I have planned for.

I expect to have completed my new house and to have cleared fees for my kid who is almost finishing high school.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different because I have already paid school fees and has made my business capital easier.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I am planning to built a three roomed brick walled house because I currently live in a mud-walled house.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship was in 2010 when my children was joining secondary school and I had no source of income. I had to borrow from friends and relatives which again created a bad image for me in the village
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is the morning when I wake up to new day and when my family is happy and healthy
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use my transfer to renovate my house and use the remaining to pay school fees for my two children who are in secondary school
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
In the 2016 i had planted two acres of cabbages, luckily I was the only one who had cabbages in the whole location and due to the high demand in the market I was selling it at a double price. The money I got was enough to pay school fees for my children
