When I received my last transfer I bought enough foodstuff for my family, I was able to paid my children school fees, I used part of my transfer to paid the workmanship, the rest of the money I was able to put it in small business where in when givedirectly goes I will be able to support my family on my owned.

Firstly I want to say thank you to Givedirectly for their support. Givedirectly has changed my entire life, before than life has been so hard on me and my family, to even get food to eat used to be very difficult for my family, I'm a farmer, and my income was very low. I will farm the whole day just to get money to support my family but still things been hard. But when I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly my life started getting better.. Now I'm building my own house in my village. I have paid all my children school fees, my children eat twice a day now. When I received my transfer I when to Buchanan to withdraw the money. On my way back, I bought enough of food for my family, I bought additional building materials. I paid the workers 20,500 LD for workmanship.
