What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying college fee for my daughter. I bought a cow and used some on farming water melon and fencing my home.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I managed to take my daughter to college. I wouldn't do this on my own because I had challenge raising fee for her. I also feel safe since I managed to fence my compound.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Gd does well is giving cash direct to recipients without going through any other parties. This has discouraged corruption and bribery.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of my second transfer to fence my home since l was losing most of my thing to strangers. I also spent the transfer to pay school fee for my children who are in secondary school, the remaining balance l spent to buy 2 bags of maize.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, l am now staying in a very secured home, where by l do not lose my properties to strangers.

I spent my first transfer to clear secondary school fees balance for my son and used part of it on my rice farm because it is the major source of income for my family.

I felt so good when i received my money because i had no other option to clear my son's school fees balance.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use the transfer on rice and vegetables farming.This will help me increase my family income.l will buy pesticides ,seeds and fertiliser. I also intend to use the transfer on paying school for my son who will be form four next year.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Being able to own a house is my biggest achievement.l did savings from farming rice and bought iron sheets. I am happy my children can do their homework and sleep comfortably.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in my life is paying school for my three children in secondary school.The income I get from farming is limited and not enough to pay for their school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is in the in the morning when doing my daily chores like cleaning the house and dishes. These activities keep me busy and active .
