Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal in the coming months is to begin on keeping poultry. Poultry keeping has a lot of benefits which include laying eggs that can be sold for money. Eggs can also be used as food for the improvement of family's health.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life for the past four months is that I have currently boasted of goats which I bought with the transfers. I had none previously but with the aid from GiveDirectly, I currently own seven of them. The reason why I feel this is an achievement is that goats do multiply very fast therefore, I will have enough of them to help me in paying school fees for my children which are coming in the very near future. Education is very important in today’s life and I wouldn’t want my children to miss.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to ensure that I have established a poultry keeping project. Thorough the monthly transfers that I get from GiveDirectly, I am very sure that I will build the poultry house and even buy chicken even if it means doing so in small numbers first and then add more as time goes by.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it used to be before I started receiving transfers from Give Directly because I managed to buy sheep and goats to rear. The sheep I have multiplies very fast since they reproduce three times in a year. The wealth I am creating is a result of the investment I made over the last four months. I managed to do these investments through the assistance I got from this organization and I thank them for that.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to start poultry keeping using the next transfers. Start-up capital is usually very expensive therefore when I got the means to do it through the transfers from Give Directly, I didn't hesitate. I want to do this business because I know that this transfer will stop soon. I want to cushion my self by establishing another source of income so that I don't get stranded once this organization terminates their project in this village
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life ever since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly is that I an now able to comfortably pay school fees for my child who is in secondary school. Being that I am a tout, I sometimes lack the money to pay school fees since this job is unreliable. My child would definitely drop out of school and I would have failed him as a parent. Once I started receiving transfers from Give Directly I joined a merry go round to with an intention to save my monthly income. I can now comfortably pay my child's school fees through the saved money. I always feel happy when I see my child everyday go to school just like the rest of the students in the village. I can't thank Give Directly enough for helping me do this.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have established a good poultry system on my farm. I am planning to add more equipment and all other materials that are essential but lacking on my farm. I also plan to buy chicken every month using the transfers. I feel like I would reap more if I invest in this sector because few people are doing it. The demand for chicken in this region is also very high. This will aid me in school fee payment as I am going to have several sources of income. I believe my business will be fully established by next year.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my son has joined the secondary school of his choice and I managed to pay all the required school fees. Using the transfers, I have cleared his first term fees. I also own livestock that I bought from the transfers. I own three goats and a calve that will help meet my financial future obligations as a father. My driving job as a driver is not constant employment as I work whenever there is work for my employer. This had been exposing me to situations where I have no income even for a whole month. The constant and unfailing transfers form GiveDirectly have made sure that I have all that I need.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I don't have an additional plan as I am continuously paying my contribution to my merry go round group. I want to keep saving in order to be in good standings with my other group members.
