How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes. My dream have been building my own house, doing business and sending myself to school. I haven't been able to achieve this because of financial difficulties in my life. I am 18 years in the 4th grade with one kid. I lost my dad when I was 10 years. My mother has been the only one suffering and making farm works before having food for us to eat and send us to school. We are currently living in a deplorable house and it leaks during raining season. I want to help my mom by building a new house for us to live in. GiveDirectly have put smiles and joy in a lot of homes.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my sincere opinion, GiveDirectly have been fair and transparent in their enrolment processes. They don't pick and choose who to serve or not. GiveDirectly have done nothing wrong. They will always be the supreme for all the NGOS.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I'm using my most recent transfer to buy fish and rubber slippers, it's a new business that I'm starting. I also used portion my transfer to do some payments at my school and bought one bundle of zinc and zinc nails to build my house.
