Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at home transplanting my onions, I felt so happy and my first thought was to buy a plot of land.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
There is a big change now.. we are happy as family, we have a plot of land bought, and I now have a big bull that I did have before

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan to buy a bull of USD 526 which I will keep for 1 years and earn me USD 1052. I opt to buy a plot of land worthy USD 1315 in Kikololo on which I will build a house when I sell a bull after 1 year so that my people can stay safe without any worries.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last three months, I felt very happy when I harvested coffee which enabled me to raise money and acquired some basic needs like food and paying for health bills.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I currently face a problem of poverty which doesn't enable me to meet all basic needs and paying school fees for my people. I also suffer a problem of landslide which has destroyed has always destroyed my crops leaving my people without food. We are staying with lots of fears that landslides will kill us any time.
