What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I was able to complete the construction of my house with 499,000ugx, purchased ground nuts for planting at 130,000ugx, I acquired other household items worth 300,000ugx and the balance of 704,000ugx, I intend to use it to purchase two goats, go for medical treatment and purchase food for the household.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well in giving unconditional cash grants and there is nothing they have failed to do well according to me.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now have Improved living conditions compared to life before Givedirectly cash grants.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying bricks at 610,000ugx, 8 iron sheets at 168,000ugx, paid builders 200,000ugx, I bought a mattress at 77,000ugx and the remaining 200,000 I have kept for buying a Window and a door for my house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my first transfer I became very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have pride that am going to sleep in a iron roofed house soon.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of money to own an iron roof house.The current grass thatched house where I sleep leaks because it was destroyed by termites.These days, every time it rains, it means sleepless nights
What is the happiest part of your day?
Afternoon is my happiest part of the day.This is because it's the time when my grand children come from their home to stay and visit me.This children make me so much happy because they laugh and give me company.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means building an iron roof house and buying household items like bedsheets, saucepans and plates.I have been admiring to own and sleep in an iron roof house.Receiving this money means achieving my long term desire of a house.
