Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My heart was jumping though the excitement, a huge amount of money in my account that I did not work for, it was a huge excitement. I rushed to take a shower and went to town to withdraw the money before people finish all the money from agents, I could not wait.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest different is the idea that I will soon have a house with Iron sheets, who knew? I will fix this house with new doors and it will be amazing. Am just waiting for the next transfer to start the project and I can't wait. This is a good development on my household and am thankful to GD for this, I have never seen an NGO which gives out money to people. This is new and it's a very good idea.
