What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on completing payment of my land that we had hired out to some one. Now I have got my land back at 1,200,000 ugx, bought a bull at 300, 000 ugx and using the rest for family responsibility
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has done well by enabling me to have my life improved in terms of having food, good house to sleep in. To me, it has done nothing wrong or bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had not received the transfer, I now would be admiring those that got. But I am happy that I got it because I was able to get back my land and I am going to cultivate in it with out worrying or spending more money for hiring other people's gardens.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my first transfer for buying windows, doors and other materials that i used for completing my iron roofed house. Part of the money was used to pay for my child's operation, pay my husband's tuition. I also bought kicthen utensils,beddings, plastic chairs and mortgaged one acre of land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When i saw the message on my phone i became happy and in my heart i knew that time has come for me to accomplish my plans.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that i eat thrice a day and sleep in a decent iron roofed house.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face in my family is payment of the aloan.The small money we realise from my spouse salary all goes to pay the loan.This is making it hard for us to buy books,pencils,uniform for my children studying in Kotia mokongoro primary school,so they end up delaying to report at school, which affacts their studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is lunch hours.This is when i relax while resting with my non school going child.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My biggest plan is to spend this transfers on completing the house .I intend to plaster ,fixed doors and windors to my ironroofed house such that it will look nice and more decent to sleep.
