The recipient is deaf. Being deaf has never been so easy as she is mostly rejected in the society. Nobody would not wish to employ her and life has always been so challenging financially and socially. with the transfer, she has managed to buy kitchen materials such as plates, pots, spoons etc things that seems so easy to have but she could not manage to buy. She has now good church clothes were as before, she had two dresses which she wore through out the week, month or year.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 20 iron sheets,4 bags of maize, biscycle, matress and kitchen items. I have bought clothes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help our household to buy enough food since we are already starving and and spending some days without any food just wild fruits and mangoes. The money will also help us buy the cheap fertilizers so that we apply it in our garden to harvest enough maize next year
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I have done piece work and have been paid money which allows me to buy food and other things for my family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Both I and my husband are mute and this has badly affected our interaction with people as some people tend to mock us and think we cannot achieve great things in life which explains why we never attended any school because people in the village think we are useless.
