Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy to have received this money i did not even imagine i will ever receive this amount of money my whole life. Am here thanking Givedirectly for enrolling me in this programme
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I will finally build a house that i will be very comfortable to own. I will also be able to feed my children and have a descent sleeping place
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will use this first transfer to build start building a house. We have always wanted Build a house but could not due to financial constraints. The money we make can not be enough to build a house. I also want to buy matress and blankets. My sleeping place is not that good and i would like to make sure i use these funds to do do that. Lastly i would like to buy food in my home. I do not have enough food to take me through next year so i will use the money to do that.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
To me, receiving this money will enable me to build my own standard house, as you can see, this is not a good house we are living in. I'll also buy a mattress to sleep comfortably on with my wife, we also need clothes, so I'll be able to buy that.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am the happiest in the afternoon because that is when I manage to eat with my family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Food, no munda Our biggest hardship in my household is the lack of adequate food to go around for a year. We are food insecure because we don't have farmland. With this money we can be able to rent land this year to cultivate on so that we have food next year.
