How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes I have a new goal which I didn't have before receiving this transfer. My new plan is to do "dry goods business".
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD does well in changing people life and situation of poor people. Before receiving the money from GiveDirectly, my family lived in a house with a thatched roof. Whenever it rained, our entire house was flooded. GiveDirectly has enabled us to change the entire roof and replacedthe thatch with zinc.
The only area where GiveDirectly does not do well is that their transfers are not continual. After the 4th transfer, GiveDirectly should (at least) send additional transfers to those who made positive use of the first transfers.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to change my house roof. My house was roofed with palm thatch. It has been an object of leakage from the very day we roofed it. So when I was enrolled on the Give Directly program, I made it a goal to change the roof of my house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Nothing has changed, I'm still maintaining my old planned which is to renovate my house. I want to give my house a better look, so I bought additional one bundle of zinc with other building materials for the renovation of my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well for me, I have not seen anything that she has done wrong. Many thanks to GiveDirectly for giving my the opportunity to be part of this program.

I'm saving all of my money to purchase metal sheets and other building materials to renovate my house that is been leaking on me for so many years.

Yes. I have new goal that I didn't have before receiving this transfer. My new goal is tp build a house. Therefore, I have started buying the materials for the construction.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am indeed happy to have come across GD. Givedirectly has positively impacted my life. GD has equip me financially to the extent that I have started buying my building materials.GD has done extremely well by transforming the lives of the common people through her MoMp transfer.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the house when the message came and i was so happy. I have never have such amount of money before Im not well o was cutting stick in thr bush and the atick hit eye since than my eye is hurting. Since than im not able to make farm and burn coal.seen the money i know i can start a gas business so i can be able to get profit
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Difference is that to eat was difficult because my eye is hurting and no way to hustle

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My house is currently in a deplorable condition. If I receive the cash transfer, I will use a portion of it to buy zinc to rebuild my house. I will use the rest of the transfer to make a farm and sell the products to support myself.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Things have been really difficult for me in the last month. I could not afford food on a daily basis for myself. The entrance of GiveDirectly in my community today has brought me so much joy because I believe that they can change my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
About a year ago while brushing my farm, I accidentally cut a stick which fell on my right eye and damaged it. I can not presently see clearly with it because the medical facilities I went to because of the funds I had could not do anything about it. I do not have the finances to seek further treatment for my eye.
