How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, now I have hoped that my child is going to do her final exam for O'level because I have paid her school fees which I thought I would not have managed if I never receives the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has helped people in my village to build permanent strictures and some have livestock.Give Directly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer to pay school fees and requirements at 650,000ugx,bought building materials ( iron sheets) at 400,000ugx,saved some money 450,000ugx and also gave gifts of 40,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having a great peace of mind. This is because initially i used to think of how to get back my land and educating my children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to get back my land which I had given out in exchange for money that I had used to educate my children because I had no place to plant my cassava. Most gardens that I had are all water logged and one can not plant cassava there.
I also my transfer to finish up paying my children school fees. This is because there was a burning date for their fees.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money to enable me pay school fees and provide school materials for my children studying in Angagam primary school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moment is when am resting after garden work and this is always around afternoons.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to build permanent ironroofed house with the transfers. This will help me reduce costs involved in maintaning grassthatched roof.
