Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
So far, I have only managed to plaster the inner part of my house and still have the outer part to plaster. I have plans of completing the project by using the transfers to buy the required materials as I have always done with the help of my sons so that I can complete plastering the entire house to make it more durable.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I had a mud house that required a lot of constant renovations through smearing which I could no longer keep up with due to my ill health and old age. This forced me to make the tough decision of using my transfers to plaster the house to keep it in good condition to avoid the constant renovations. I have been doing this for a while now and I am pleased because most of the house is now plastered, especially the inner part which is very easy to clean and maintain hence no more dust. I have not yet plastered the entire house but, I am happy with the progress made so far. The transfers have also enabled me to farm through hiring labourers to tend to my farms which I am also not able to cultivate on my own. As the rest are forced to buy maize which is our staple food, I have enough stock to last me untill the next harvest which is also expected to produce a very bumper harvest, all thanks to the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I hope that in the next six months, I will have completed the plastering of the entire house through the transfers I receive and my children's support so that I can be free to spend on more personal needs such as foodstuff and medication. At the moment, I have to be very strict with my budget to enable me to complete the plastering process which means that I cannot buy some of the items I would like to have as that will delay the entire process. This is why I hope to complete the project as soon as possible

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life in the last four months is that I have always had quality medication courtesy of GD transfers. In the past before the transfers, I could not get quality medication because I did not have the resources to go to the hospital. I would have to rely on natural herbs and in some cases, I would go to a low-quality hospital which I could afford. Right now, I have been getting good medication which has really reduced the number of time I go to the hospital.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy a motorcycle. I would want to have a stable source of income and I would give my grandson to use for motorcycle taxi business to earn an income. I cannot do any kind of business hence I want to use in buying a motorcycle for my grandchild to boost our financial life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have plastered my house. I did not know I would manage to plaster the house because I did not have a stable source of income. I used to depend on income from farming which has been my main source of income. With this kind of income, I knew I could not do much in life. When I started receiving these transfers, I have been using part of it to buy cement and sand which I have used in plastering my house. This is the biggest difference in my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to save the money to buy a motorcycle which my grandson will use for the motorcycle business. I would not want him to sit at home doing nothing yet I do not have any income to help us in life. I would want him to have an economic engagement to develop his life.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My health has really improved for the last four months. In the past months since I started receiving these transfers, I have been able to buy good food and eat constantly. Before the transfers, I did not have much income to help me meet my needs. I have always depended on my harvest which cannot sustain my life well. Since I started receiving these transfers, I have been able to buy good food and eat constantly which has really impacted my life positively well.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to buy household items such as seats and utensils which I did not have. The ones I have now are old and so when I will be building a new house, I want to start fresh with everything new in the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since started receiving these transfers is that I have iron sheets which I will use in building a new house. The house I have now is old, grass thatched which is almost collapsing. The roof is also rusty and has started leaking. I fear very soon I might not even have a house if I don't act quickly. This is the reason why I chose to buy iron sheets to help me build a new house of my choice. Through my little income from farming, I could not manage to raise money to buy building materials and meet my other needs hence I have been using the transfers to buy the materials.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I want to complete buying building materials which I will use in building a new house. This is my priority for now which I am focusing on and will sell part of my harvest to raise money for the same.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have the ability to buy very necessary items that I could not afford before receiving the last four transfers. I bought Shoes and clothes. I feel good that I also dress well like other people in my village. Another difference in my life is the ability to farm well. I have used apart of the money I get form GIveDIrectly to enhance my farming activities. This is resulting in a better harvest in the next few months as I can see my crops are doing well.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to purchase a goat for the purpose of rearing. This will be more productive in income generating because it will first of all provide milk for making tea for my household and secondly, selling them to get money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I am able to purchase household items including foodstuffs. I can also buy shoes, clothes and other personal items. This was not the case before I started receiving transfers. Give directly has made me a dignified house hold member. As a mother, I am happy to be the one putting food on the table for my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I look forward to a bumper harvest from my farm. I planted my crops at the right time and used a fertilizer that has made my crops very healthy. My production this crop season will go up. This will give me a better income from selling the products.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is my poor health condition. I usually experience a severe headache that affects my entire body. Though the exact condition has not been established from the hospitals I have visited, the condition has made me strain financially and has also made me less productive especially in my farms.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when the weather is cool and am able to work on my farm. Working on the farm brings me happiness because it's my main source of livelihood.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfers on buying building materials such as iron-sheets, timber, nails, cement, sand and construct a semi-permanent house since my current house is so weak due to a leaking roof.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest about was having cultivated my farm using fertilizer during the last planting season which enabled me to get high and quality harvest. I got four bags of maize and a half a sack of beans which was the best I have ever harvested from my farm. This has enabled me to have enough food since last year up-to now. I have never gone without food since then and I am also able to sell some of the maize to meet other basic needs.
