What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying two oxen for ploughing and hiring out to my neighbors at a fee for their farming. I then bought school uniforms and books for my children fro the new term. I also invested on a dry corn sales business to keep her busy and bring us some income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have seen a big change in my life because of these transfers but what I consider the greatest change is that this money has made me a very responsible person, I say this because whatever I have achieved to do with these transfers is because I realized that I had the responsibility to ensure that all these happened without fail unlike sometime back had I been given such an amount of money I would have used it on entertaining my friends and buying petty things.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion give directly is a very straight forward organization with no corruption in its operations. I do not think there is anything that needs changing because all the systems are just perfect.
