What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a rental house in idudi town where I will be getting ans extra income to take care of myself and my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have been able to build a rental house which will be earning me an extra income. This would not have been possible with out the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give directly is very honest and transparent. I like the idea of not involving politics in their program which makes us feel safe.

I used my second transfer to buy a plot of land in Idudi trading centre so that i can own land in town and i wasnt to construct a business house

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying construction materials to prepare to expand my house and make it better. My house door was previously made of iron sheets but I replaced it with a wooden door.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
Am planning to spend my upcoming transfer on expanding my house. I am also planning to buy a bull (ox plough) to supplement the one I have so that I fulfil my dream of starting an animal traction business.

I plan to start with a heifer purchase then land for farming since daddy did not have enough land for us.balance to improve my house and basic nacessities.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement is my house.iam now looking forward to completing it with cement after getting a transfer from gd.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship faced in life is the death of my father.i was less than a year thus why iam in. P7 at 19 yrs.its really tough growing as an orphan in Uganda.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I ve finished all home chores.i go to the centre and just watch what's happening around.
