What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 10000 KES on paying school fees for my child in secondary school so that he is not sent home for the same. I then used 20000 KES from the balance to start a second-hand shoe-selling business to sustain my family from the profits. The rest of the balance was spent on paying electricity installation fees in my house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because through the transfers, I now have a good house for my family and I also have a business, whose profit is sustaining my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
All the the work done by Give Directly was well done since there is positive transformation in the entire village ranging from new houses to owning livestock and starting businesses among others.
