What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing two bags of maize for the family consumption, bought sheep that I would sell the offsprings to take care of emergencies that might arise and decent clothes and shoes for the family members. I also paid workers to cultivate my parcel of land and spent most of the transfer on purchasing a bull that would help in farm work.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, right now I have a plan on where to get money when I have emergencies since I bought sheep that I can sell the offspring to help in situations where money is needed.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well is making us be aware of the program at the baraza level and again talking to an individual person through the door to door visit.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have a spacious house which I never imagined I could have now.

I spent the first transfer on buying iron sheets at 6000 KES, used 1000 KES to buy utensils and used the rest of the money on buying food for the family.

I'm planning to spend my upcoming transfer on building a bigger house because my current house is too squeezed to fit my family. I'm also planning to open a shop so that I'll be able to have a source of income.
