What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to buy a bull and two sheep. I invested a portion of the remaining transfer in alcohol business. Apart from that, I purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I'm living a comfortable life which I earn from the alcohol business I commenced. Without GD support, I could have been still in abject poverty.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that the cash it issues can be engaged in different ways based on the beneficiary's desire. I'm not sure of what GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying iron sheets for extending my house, nails, four sheep for rearing,and other household items I lacked. I am still saving 12000 KES in my phone to spend on labour cost for extending my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I am currenly running my own business for income generation and sure of enlarging my small house since I have all the needed materials and the money to do it.

I spent my first transfer on paying hospital bill I was hospitalized during the receive of the transfer.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly,I would like to use the transfer on building another house for my family because my current one is small for my big family .Secondly l will use the remaining amount in paying school fees for my daughter who will be joining secondary school next year.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Being able to own my current house is my proudest achievement. My family has a shelter and my properties are also secured.

My biggest hardship in my life is making ends meet.The sells from my business are sometimes low.We live from hand to mouth.
