What did you spend your third transfer on?

I spent 35000 KES of my second transfer on buying a second hand motorcycle that we are using for taxi services. I used 10000 KES to pay school fee for my tree children and used then rest of the money on buying food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has improved because I'm able to meet my daily needs because I now have a source of income from the motorcycle. This is the biggest difference in my daily life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a bag of maize 4000 KES and other household expenditure 800 KES. I also paid school fees for my three children two in primary school and high school respectively 5000 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer,I felt very happy and that is when I truly believed that GiveDirectly fulfills promises and also has good intentions of improving the living standards of the less-unfortunate household at the community levels by giving unconditional cash transfers.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Due to unreliable source of income, paying school fees for our child in secondary school, and school levies for our two children in primary school, is the biggest hardship we have faced.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the mornings, when I'm doing the dishes used at night.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I feel very excited, because I intend to use the money to expand this our house, plaster the walls, and cement the floor.
