What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my transfer on paying school fee for my two children in secondary school. I also bought a cow for milking and then spent the rest on buying school uniforms and shoes for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have seen a big difference in my life in that I have been able to pay school fee for my children and also buy a few cattle which is like my financial security.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion i consider give directly to be a corruption free organization and this should be maintained. I can only suggest that during barazas the organization can educate more on investment and small business start ups.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a cow so as I can have milk during lactation as I love milk so much and I do spend a lot of money daily to buy milk. I also bought some household items and the remaining cash I spent to start farming so that I can get food to feed my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is quite conspicuous as most of things that I was just imagining of and only seeing at friends and neighbors house such as furniture, utensils, clothes, cows and mattresses are now in my own house. This is a drastic change in my life. Thanks a lot to GD.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy 10 cushions for my sofa set at 3500 KES, paid secondary school fees balance for my two children with 4000 KES, bought 1 sack of maize at 2000 KES and bought 2 pairs of sandals for my children at 300 KES.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
When I receive the next transfer, I will save part of it to pay the whole year's school fees for my two children in secondary and use the rest to buy goats to rear in my home.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I have planned to buy household items since I don't have any,then I will build a better house for my family since the one I am in is small. I also plan to buy a some livestock to keep.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement is that I had some livestock that I kept,but due to lack of money to pay school fees I had to sell them to educate my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is being a widow and finding ways to provide for my children since I am not employed.

The happiest part of my day is when am able to share a meal with my children after a long days work.
