What did you spend your token payment on?
I spent my first transfer on buying bedding and school uniforms at 3,900 KES, three cushions at 1,290 KES, paid 2,400 KES school fee for my two children in primary school then use the rest of the cash on food for the house. I went straight for my children's bedding because they only had sacks as bedding.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received the transfer because it gave me hope that I'll be able to do the things I desired to do but couldn't do because of financial crises.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face is that my husband has not paid my dowry. Since we're both the eldest children in our families, our younger siblings cannot pay dowry to their spouses.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I prepare my children for school. I enjoy being a mother.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means financial empowerment to me. I look forward to investing in an income generating activity so that I can be for financialy independent.
