I spent my third transfer on buying building materials such as iron sheets and house fixtures which I am planning to use them on building my homestead . At the moment I am still homeless staying in my grandmother's house .

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to buy building materials as l am planning to build my house, since l am staying in my mother in-law's house after my house collapsed down some times back. I also spent the transfer to pay school fee for my child who is in secondary school. The remaining balance l spent to buy 1 sack of maize for my consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, Give Directly has brought some hope in me, because l am now sure l will have my own house and stop staying with my mother in-law in one house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying 4,000 KES school fee for my child in high school, used 5,000 KES on land cultivation then used the rest on food for the house. My child hasn't been sent out of school since I got the money.

I am finding it hectic to raise and to offer for my children the basic needs required just by myself as my husband hardly contributes to the same.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon hours when I'm with friends and making stories, it keeps me off stresses of life.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It's means that I'll be able to be independent , live a joyous life because I'll use the money to reach what I could not do before.
