"The achievement I'm proud of is owning a piece land that I bought using my own money. In the year 2015 I planted tea in the same piece. The proceeds I get from sale of tea has really enabled me educate my children and provide enough food for them ."

"When I was still unmarried and at home, I started raring two chicken and by the time I was leaving home after I had gotten married, I had close to one hundred of them. I later sold half of the chicken and bought a cattle for my parents while the remaining ones continued to multiply. Today as we speak my parents have a steady cash flow from the poultry project of mine and sometimes they surprise me with a token of appreciation. This for me is the greatest achievement of my life "

"In the year 2013, I started tea farming on a small scale level and four years down the line I have been extending the acreage gradually. From tea sales, I have been able to realize increased returns yearly and as a result I have been able to not only provide for my family but also to save for future use. This has been my proudest achievement. "

"When I got married and wanted to have a family of my own, my husband took me to his home. His parents had passed on and he was left with nine of his siblings to take care of. Together with him, we had to raise them as I had to be like their second mother. Life was so tough since I was not employed and the little my husband could provide was not enough for all of us. I had to wait for long so as to be able to bear children of my own and that motherhood feeling had to be prolonged. This became the biggest hardship of my life."

"The biggest hardship I have ever faced is when I lost my husband in the year 2010. He used to be our sole provider, now I am left alone with five children.Times were better when my husband was alive. I was inspired and we were happy. Even though his earning was minimal, he stretches our budget and we have never lacked. Now I am left alone, I have to struggle even though its hard to make ends meet."
