"Financial constrain is the biggest hardship that I am faced with.As a widow without any stable source of income, I find it very difficult to provide for my children with good education. Two of them had to drop out at primary level while two are normally on and off of school when they are chased away due to pending fee arrears. This pains me a lot because they are very bright children and due to my incapability to educate them, they are forced to settle for casual jobs at times to help me out yet I feel that as the parent,I am the one who should be providing for them."

"When my daughter sat for her exams, I knew that she would pass, my worries was how she would continue with her education, since I had no adequate resources to support that. I managed to pay School fees for her for the three academic years. With the little savings I get from my business, I believe I will be able to raise money for her college and other children's education. My life has changed from desperation to hopefulness."

"As I indicated earlier, I was a pauper, with nothing to depend on. Being that I have got children to feed, clothe, educate, and provide shelter to, it could be difficult to meet all the demands and this forced me to go and work on sugarcane farm in order to get what we could eat. At the moment, that is a thing of the past and I have things which were just dream to me in my entire life."

"In the next six months, I plan to pay school fees for my children. I would not want my children to be sent home every now and again for school fees. I will use the transfers to pay their arrears bit by bit until I clear all the fees balances so that they can have humble time to study and get good grades."

"I want to become a full time poultry farmer because I know that this venture has a lot of profit. The reason why I say that is because I have tried it in the past and I am so sure that it works, it only needs dedication and patience. Having tried the business before, I know there is a ready market for the business and the buyers are always available, so long as the birds are mature and ready for sale. I am eager to get into this business because for one it does not require so much capital to kick-start, and the more birds I keep the more the profits I will be generating."

"My life will change tremendously because I will have a big house by then that will comfortably accommodate my family. The fear of living under a leaking roof and being rained on during the rainy seasons will now be a thing of the past. My kids will live a more comfortable life where they will have their own room unlike how we live today where we have to share this living room albeit uncomfortably."

"In the next six months, I expect to increase my farming land to a hectare. Savings from the current farm produce and the transfers will enable me to achieve my plans. Because of the good income that I will be getting from the increased farming activities, I will be able to cater for my family easily."

"My life is currently different from how it would have been had I never received the transfer in that my daughter can now go to a good school near our home. In the past , I used to accompany her in the morning since I feared for her safety as the road she was using was under maintenance and it was very busy with vehicles. I am now happy since I used part of my transfers to take her to another school near our home and she can now walk alone and I no longer accompany her as I used to do. I also have a sofa set in my house something which I did not had in the past and any time I got visitors I had to borrow a seat from my neighbor."
