"I am currently suffering from hyperpigmentation of the skin around my cheeks. This condition started two years ago and having spent USD. 50 in hospital seeking treatment, I was not cured. I have been having sleepless nights since my face is so itchy at night but I believe if I can find a skin specialist I'll be cured. This has so far been the biggest hardship of my life."

"Every parent wishes to see their children prosper in their lives. My two children stopped from their electrical training because the current life's condition did not allow them to complete their education. When I receive the money I will use 60,000 Kenya shillings to pay for their fees so that they can resume school and complete their training and be self-sufficient in future. The remaining balance will be used for our daily needs such as food and also to purchase five goats for future financial needs."

"The biggest hard is when I started working in Keringet as a herdsman at Elezander's farm in 1997 He promised me that he will buy a piece of land after working for him for 2 years but after I completed the agreed time he fail to honour the agreement. I decided to come back home. I was a major hardship because I toiled everyday for 2 years expecting that the agreement will be honoured."

"My dream is to educate my children to the college level so that they may secure good job and better future. Investing in quality education for my children is what receiving this money means to me. Currently, I have 6 children in primary school with my first born in class 8 about to join secodary school next year. My plan is to use $ 300 to start a small business of buying and selling of indigenous goats which will be my sustainable source of income. I will save the profit which I will use to educate my children."

"Lack of a reliable source of income to support my children's educational needs has been my biggest hardship in my life. This has forced my child who is in secodary School to seek casual employment in order to assist me in paying his school fees. I am always worried that working may affect his academics because he lacks enough time to read as he always return home tired after work."

"I am a widower and paying the school fees for my last two kids has been an uphill task. One of them is a third year University student while the other is in primary level. Receiving this money means that I will be able to pay for their school fees arrears and cushion myself for the next year. I will then use the remaining amount from my transfer to buy a small heifer so that I can sell it in two years time and pay for the school fees of my last born kid."

"The demise of my wife 2 years ago has given me sleepless nights since she left a gap in my life which no one can fill it. The biggest hardship I have faced in life therefore, is living in a solitude state since I solely live in this household. I don't have any child within the household, my last born son got married a few years ago and moved out. My future plan is to venture in a lucrative business of dairy farming and poultry keeping to keep me busy and earn some income."

"I have been desiring to build a new house for the longest time now. I am intending to use my transfer to build a two-roomed house since this has not been spacious and it acts as both kitchen and bedroom. To make the situation worse it has been leaking.I plan to purchase 30 pieces of iron sheets at 500 each and 40 pieces of roofing frames at shillings 300 each. The motive of my aspiration is because whenever I have visitors I feel embarrassed because of smoke. Receiving this money will a lot to me as it will change the face of my family."
