"Financial instability is the biggest hardship I have ever faced in my life. This is because lam a housewife, I depend on my husband for survival. His salary can not cater to the needs of the family and also enable me to pay school fees for my siblings. Am real ashamed when my siblings drop out of school due to lack of school fees. This has stressed me for a long."

"I spent part of my first transfer on buying some building materials which include iron sheets, building poles, nails, timber, and threads. This was purposely for the construction of a new house becasue the previous one was a temporary hut with old roofing and very small. With a family of four, it couldn't accommodate us all and they had to seek shelter from friends and relatives. I also paid the mason KES 9000 as his labor charge. Also, I cleared school fees fr my children who are in primary school ad they are now studying peacefully unlike before. With the remaining amount of money, I bought enough foodstuff for the family."

"Receiving this money means an increased source of income. I am currently engaged in a small business of buying and selling cows within and outside the village and selling them in a nearby market. The business is nowadays unreliable because we seldom get cows to buy and sell. I am therefore planning to buy a dairy cow of approximately Ksh 30,000 and my projection is to milk 8 liters a day. Out of this, I will sell 5 liters at Ksh 30 per liter and consume 3 liters. The proceed I get will be used to cater to education and household expenditure. This translates to an improved household income."
