"One of the challenges I face in my life is lack of money to pay for my children's high school fees. I have 3 children who are in secondary level each requiring KES 20,000 per year. They are always sent back home for fees since raising their fees is an uphill task for me. What I get from my onion selling business,KES 300 per day, that I started recently has never been enough to cater for my household needs which school fees is among them. My hope is to one day see them stop being sent home for school fees. This will give them enough time to concentrate on their studies."

"Receiving this money means our long-time dream as a family will be fulfilled. My husband is passionate about welding. He works for someone else but we were wishing if we could get money to start our own business so that we maximize the income. He earns 300 per day. This money can only sustain our household needs. We depend on maize as our stable food but its harvesting season is not yet so we have to buy from the market and vendors around. I delivered a baby boy one week ago so I depend on my husband for all our needs. To start the business we need a capital of KES 60,000. This business will generate income to meet our household needs like food and help us in paying school fees for our children."

"Currently, the biggest challenge I am facing right Is lack of money. This season I sold 5 bags of Nandolo and maize at 12,500 Kwacha each. I used the money to buy clothes and kitchen utensils. Before my marriage ended, the man burnt my house and everything in it and left so I had to start over."

"Receiving this money means a boost to my small business. I am a milk trade, I usually move around the village buying milk. I purchase a litre at KES 32 and sell at KES 38.50 at near by milk cooler. I do around 60 litres per day. This has been my only source of income to sustain my family needs. I intend to use KES 20,000 to boost this. I am planning to increase my milk production by adding other dairy cow worthy KES 35,000. The remaining amount will go for school fees payment and other family neccessities."
