"I am a proud owner of a dairy cow and this is the biggest difference in my daily life as I had not been able to afford it all these years due to financial constraints. Because of this, I will no longer buy milk throughout the year as I used to before as I will be alternating its lactating period with the one that I already had as this will ensure a constant supply of milk throughout. In addition, I will be able to meet our basic needs on time when it calves as I will be selling some of the milk and use the money to achieve this. I am so grateful that the organization allowed me to better my life by giving us unconditional cash."

"It has always been my prayer to build a house for my family but I had not been able to achieve this since I usually channel all my finances in paying school fees for my five children in different levels of education. Due to this, I had to continue living in a two-room house, and my children had to sleep in the kitchen whose roof was always leaking during the rainy season. On receiving my transfer, I spent all amount to build a more spacious house for my family. I bought all the necessary materials and paid for the workforce. I am glad that my children will have their separate bedrooms and my visitors will always sleep comfortably whenever they visit."

"The biggest difference in my daily life is that I was able to purchase a piece of land through financial support. This is so far the valuable asset that I can lean on anytime. The previous was very small (half an acre) and unproductive which I used to harvest just a single bag of 50kgs of maize. With my even daily members, this could only last a month and I felt I made the best choice of buying the piece of land ( 3 acres). My expectation is that with the next harvesting season I will get more than ten bags (50 kgs) of maize which will be an amount enough to last my family close to one year. Besides, this will only be an asset to me but also to my children the time they will need to build their own homes. I feel I have regained my self-esteem since we no longer get sarcastic comments from my neighbors especially when I was unable to raise the money needed to lease their lands."
